The film view

Hi everyone!
Today I should give my opinion about the film "The wind that shakes the Barley"
I have a promblem with the movie. I don't like so much the movies in english. I have so much difficults to understand it.  
About the story It was so interesting because I don't know anything about the Irish Independence. 
Mi favourite character was Damien because his character have some idealist ideas. He was so brave to defend his convictions. I like his conviction to fight fot the Irish independence in spite of his brother Teddy left out the Irish Republican Army.But I don't like so much the idea about of the extrem nacionalism.
The film argument was so exciting for me, because I could see the division of ideas present in a politc conflict, and even the betrayal of a brother gives to the movie a special drama moment in the story. 
I don't like so much the Teddys characters because I hated a little bit his betrayal and the idea about the absolut power of the policy on his life.
My favourite scene was when Teddy arrives to Demians house and should talk with Demian couple about the  execution of his love partner. I like the interpretation of the actress about this scene, she could moves me.
